Today, on the 3rd of May, we remember with deep reverence the death anniversary of Dr. Zakir Husain Khan, a luminary who illuminated the path of education and governance in India.
Dr. Zakir Husain Khan, the third President and second Vice-President of India, was not only a statesman but also a visionary educator. His contributions to the nation earned him the prestigious Bharat Ratna award.
He was the founder of Jamia Millia Islamia and served as the Vice-Chancellor of both Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), institutions that continue to be beacons of education.
It is an honor to have studied at these esteemed institutions, and we are proud to carry forward the legacy he envisioned.
May his soul rest in peace, and may we be inspired by his dedication to education and service.
